Krishnamacharya is attributed with being the architect of Vinyasa. Vinyasa means, “To place in a special way.” It is a style of Yoga characterized by stringing postures together so that you move from one to another, seamlessly, using breath.
This Yoga refers to a series, or sequence of steps, to make something sacred.
Instructors will use principles from Ashtanga and Iyengar Yoga to make every posture accessible. Each Class has a designated intention including Original, Gentle, Power, and Soul Vinyasa.
Sivananda Yoga is based on the teachings of Swami Sivananda. It is a traditional, exact, and easy to learn style of yoga that aims to create a healthy body, mind, and spirit.
Sivananda Yoga focuses on proper alignment, breath, and maintaining mindfulness and steady breathing through each asana.
This class includes a traditional sun salutation, some gentle inversions, and a variety of poses meant to enhance flexibility, strength, balance, and improve circulation.
Bring your personal Meditation Practice to a Drop in friendly group atmosphere. Here you will find other practitioners willing to share space and experiences with one another. This is a great way to set intentions, apply new principals and synergize with other passionate practitioners in our community.
This session provides an unguided space for 1 hour of Sacred Silence in Meditation.
